Cardinal (miniature) The Cardinal is a bird that most people are familiar with. It is a spectacular picture, posed on an evergreen branch on a snowy day! In the summer, Cardinal parents bring their young to the birdfeeders and show them how to crack a sunflower seed. Whether you call them “redbirds” or cardinals, they are beautiful birds. This little Cardinal is made of tupelo wood and acrylic paints. I turned the base out of walnut wood
